• In May 2026, she was reportedly denied treatment at a hospital as she could not afford the expenses. After being dropped at a road junction, locals alerted the police, who moved her to the RK Foundation. Producer Dil Raju and his team later arranged proper medical treatment for her.

• Pavala Syamala passed away due to a cardiac arrest on 28 July 2026. She was undergoing treatment for prolonged age-related ailments at Osmania General Hospital in Hyderabad.
