• Prabhakar Chaudhary is a 2010 batch IPS officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre. In his thirteen years of service, he is known for being transferred a total of 21 times. In July 2023, he attracted attention after he was posted out from Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, following his issuance of orders for a lathi-charge on Kanwariyas.

• Following the completion of his formal education, Prabhakar Chaudhary took the UPSC civil services exam and passed it on his first try. Subsequently, he joined the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVNPA) in Hyderabad, Telangana, where he underwent police training.

• After finishing his police training on 30 August 2010, Prabhakar Chaudhary was appointed as an IPS officer.
