  • Pradeep Rawat family has its roots in Ambala, Haryana.
  • Just like his father, Pradeep too wanted to join the Indian army. However, he failed in all his attempts.
  • After completing his graduation, he worked as a banker for a while in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh.
  • Pradeep Rawat then joined Raj Babbar and his wife Nadira Babbar‘s, Ekjute Theatre Group to learn acting skills. Nadira Babbar was his first director there.
  • While doing theatre with Raj Babbar, Pradeep Rawat caught the attention of Raj Babbar’s friend who advised him to audition for the role of Ashwathama in the TV serial Mahabharat. He eventually bagged the role.

The man reminded him of Deva from the film Lagaan, and then he approached Pradeep Rawat to play the negative lead in his film.

  • In the Telugu version of the film “Ghajini” (2005), Pradeep performed a double role as Ram and Lakshman, which remains one of his most iconic performances. His reputation as a villain was further solidified by his roles in other films such as Chatrapathi” (2005) and “Singham” (2010).
