  • Soon after his birth, Raghuvaran’s father shifted his hotel business from Mathur to Coimbatore and the entire family shifted to Coimbatore.
  • He dropped out of his Bachelor of Arts in History degree from Coimbatore (Government Arts College) to pursue a career in acting.
  • Raghuvaran passed away during the filming stages of several films including the Tamil film titled ‘Kanthaswamy’ (2009).
  • From 1979 to 1983, he was part of an acting drama group named Chennai Kings in Chennai.
  • In 1982, Raghuvaran was cast in the Tamil film titled ‘Ezhavathu Manithan’ in which he played the character of Anand. The film was based on a real-life incident which focused on environmental pollution and exploitation of industrial workers.
