• Rahul Singh Rana Krishna is an Indian film director, producer, music director, and screenwriter. He has worked in Bollywood and Hollywood films. Rahul has worked as a second-unit director for various Hollywood films including ‘Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungl‪e‬’ (2017) ‘Aquaman’ (2018), and ‘Jurassic World Dominion’ (2022).

• He belongs to a Bihari family in Patna, Bihar.

• Rahul’s parents wanted him to become a Chartered Accountant (CA), but he had a strong aspiration to become a filmmaker and gain global recognition in the industry.

• After learning about Rahul Singh’s aspiration to become a filmmaker, his father, Ayodhya Singh, encouraged him to enrol at the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) in Pune. Despite his efforts, Rahul Singh could not secure admission due to fierce competition. Later, he decided to pursue a film editing course for which he was awarded a scholarship.

• Soon, Rahul met an opportunity to work as an assistant director to Sanjay Leela Bhansali for the making of the film ‘Bajirao Mastani’ (2015).

• Apart from working in Bollywood, Rahul Singh has also worked in Hollywood as a second-unit director for many films.
