  • Raihan’s journey as a photographer began at an early age. In an interview, he mentioned that when he was seven, his mother, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, gave him a camera for the first time during family trips. Later, frequent jungle safaris with family developed his interest in photography, especially in wildlife photography.
  • He completed his schooling at The Doon School in Dehradun, the same prestigious boarding institution attended by his grandfather, Rajiv Gandhi, and his uncle, Rahul Gandhi.
  • As a student at boarding school, Raihan used to capture school events and school trips.
  • Raihan Vadra also used point-and-shoot cameras and camcorders to document animals during trips to Jim Corbett National Park in Uttarakhand and Ranthambore National Park in Rajasthan.
