  • Rama Rajamouli is an Indian film costume designer and wardrobe stylist who primarily designs costumes for the Telugu film industry. She is the wife of popular Indian film director and screenwriter S. S. Rajamouli.
  • Rama got legally separated from her first husband in 2000. As per some media sources, S. S. Rajamouli developed romantic feelings for Rama while supporting her during her divorce proceedings. In 2001, Rama got married to S. S. Rajamaouli in a court.

  • Rama had never thought of pursuing a career as a costume designer in the entertainment industry. However, her husband, S. S. Rajamouli, insisted and motivated her to assist him in his films as a film wardrobe stylist. As per some media sources, S. S. Rajamouli was not satisfied with the work of his costume designer, and moreover, he was not able to understand the kind of designs he wanted for the film. Seeing him in dilemma, Rama advised a few ideas to him regarding the costumes, which were liked by S. S. Rajamouli. Consequently, S. S. Rajamouli encouraged her to join him and Rama agreed to work as a costume designer for his films.
