• Ravi Kana ran a 16-member gang involved with illegal deals and extorting businesses in the Delhi-NCR region, which made him a millionaire.

• In 2013, he was first reported to the police station for helping in hiding a stolen property in Vijay Nagar, Ghaziabad.

• Within six years of his first case in 2013, eight more cases were filed against him which included charges of extortion, cheating, indulging in fights, dacoity, and helping an offender who fled from police custody.

• On 8 February 2015, his elder brother Harendra Pradhan was shot dead at a marriage ceremony by armed assailants. After that, Ravi was provided police protection which he used as an advantage to do illegal business.

• On 30 December 2023, a woman filed a complaint against him for sexual assault at Noida’s Sector 39 Police Station. The woman claimed that she was called by Ravi Kana’s associates for a job which led to an assault by five people, including Ravi Kana. The gang videotaped the act to threaten her.

• After the complaint, he was booked under the UP Gangster’s and Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act. A lookout circular and red corner notice was also issued against him on 2 January 2024.

• According to sources, in 2024, his properties worth Rs 350 crores in Gautam Buddha Nagar, Bulandshahr, Delhi and 40 bighas of land in Khujra, Uttar Pradesh were sealed by Noida Police. The police also seized the Rs 80 crore bungalow, bought in the name of his girlfriend Kajal Jha in New Friends Colony, Delhi.
