  • On 1 June 2016, he suffered a cardiac arrest and was immediately rushed to Holy Family Hospital in Bandra, Mumbai. He was declared dead in the hospital. He was then buried in Nariyalwadi Cemetery, Byculla, Mumbai. His funeral was attended by many Indian celebrities like Rajpal Yadav and Makarand Deshpande. In an interview, the Indian filmmaker Priyadarshan expressed his grief on Razak’s demise. He said,

    I just got to know. It is really sad. He has worked with me in a lot of movies and he was a great actor.”
