• Renjusha Menon was an Indian actress and producer who became popular for her work in Mollywood. She went viral after committing suicide in October 2023.

• During her childhood, she was a brilliant student with an interest in singing and dancing and often took part in such cultural competitions.

• In her debut Malayalam film Athbhutha Dweepu, she acted alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran, Guinness Pakru, and Mallika Kapoor under the direction of Vinayan. She later played diverse roles in several films such as Kavitha in Classmates in 2006, Lolappan’s Wife in Marykkundoru Kunjaadu in 2010, Parimalam in City of God in 2012, and Lisammayude Veedu in 2013.

• She has also produced many episodes in various TV serials.

• On 30 October 2023, she was found hanging at her flat in the Sreekariyam locality of Trivandrum, Kerala, India; she was 35 years old at that time. Manoj Sreelakam, her live-in-partner, had gone to the shoot location of a TV show and called her from the location which went unresponded. He then called the security guard who went to the flat and knocked several times on the door.

• When there was no response from her side, they somehow entered the flat and found her hanging in a room. When Manoj took the rope off from her neck, she had already died by that time.

• Since she took such an extreme step on her birthday, and her last Facebook post was also a sad quote, many fans were shocked to know about her suicide.
