• In August 2024, during a media interview, Revathy Sampath accused Malayalam actor and producer Siddique of inappropriate behaviour. She said that she first met Siddique on Facebook while she was still in school, and he often addressed her as his daughter.

• She said in the same conversation that Siddique knew about her dreams of becoming an actress, and she believed that he took advantage of that.
