• Easwari Rao is an Indian actor and producer who works in South Indian films and television series. She is known for her appearance in films like Rambantu (1996) (Telugu), Raman Abdullah (1997) (Tamil), ‘Kaala’ (2018) (Tamil), and ‘Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire’ (2023) (Telugu).

• She hails from a Telugu Hindu family.

• One of her three brothers is a teacher in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh. Her other brother works as a banker in the United Arab Emirates, while the third one is settled in Hyderabad.

• One of her two sisters is a teacher, while the other is an interior designer.

• Easwari is a trained Kuchipudi dancer.

• She appeared in a Tamil film titled Kavithai Paadum Alaigal (1990) in which she was credited as ‘Janani.’ She then changed her stage name to ‘Vijayashree’ for a Kannada film titled ‘Megha Maale’ (1994). In 1995, she adopted the stage name ‘Vyjayanti’ for a Telugu film titled ‘Rambantu.’
