During his college, he not only hosted the events of his college but was also invited by other neighbouring institutions to host their functions.

He started his career as a voice-over artist for ‘Star Plus’ when he was still studying in college.

Although at the beginning of his college Riaz Basha had decided to become an IAS officer, he ended up choosing to compere as a profession as he used to anchor all his inter-college festivals and developed more interest in anchoring than studies.

His first event outside the college was for Intel. Interestingly, he was still studying in the college.

He has been working as an anchor, TV host, MC, VO Artist for different national and international projects for more than a decade.
