Fascinated by acting since childhood, he used to perform at various cultural functions in school.

Rishabh, while he was pursuing his undergraduate degree, used to perform in various stage plays in his college.

Before venturing into the entertainment industry, Rishabh used to work as an actor in a theatre group named Team Geshe Jampa, an amateur theatre group. Her first role in a theatrical production was of Mr Gyaso.

In an interview with a media house, Rishabh said that he gave an audition for the MTV show Roadies; however, he was rejected in the audition round. While talking about the same, Rishabh said,

In 2022, he made his television debut with the MTV reality show Splitsvilla Season 14; he was evicted in the third week of the reality show.

In an interview, Rishabh talked about his experience of participating in the reality show Splitsvilla and said that the show was toxic. While talking about the same, Rishabh said,

I would try to sum it up in just two words – toxic but new. As a person, I’m not someone who likes to initiate a fight or argue with people around me. If I don’t agree to something I would still respect their opinion.”
In 2022, Rishabh made his acting debut with the Zee television show Anupama in which he played a cameo role.
