  • Rukhsar Rehman is an Indian film and television actress. She starred in the crime and mystery web series ‘The Night Manager’ (2023) in which she played the role of Mrinal Singh. She has appeared in some famous Bollywood movies such as PK (2014), Uri: The Surgical Strike (2019), and 83 (2021).
  • In 1992, when Rukhsar made her debut with the film ‘Yaad Rakhegi Duniya’ opposite Aditya Pancholi, she was only 17 years old and was a ninth-standard student. In the same year, she appeared opposite Rishi Kapoor in the film ‘Inteha Pyar Ki.’ However, she had to quit acting soon after since her parents were not open to the idea of her pursuing a career in the film industry. She then moved back to Lucknow, and after completing her formal education, she started a garment designing business there.
  • In 2005, Rukhsar returned to the film industry after a gap of 13 years with Ram Gopal Varma’s crime drama film ‘D’ in which she played the role of Bhakti Bhatnagar, Randeep Hooda‘s girlfriend. In the same year, she got an opportunity to work with her favourite actor Amitabh Bachchan in the film Sarkar.

In 2017, she made her debut in a Malayalam-language film, ‘Take Off,’ as a doctor.

  • Rukhsar made her web series debut with ‘The Gone Game,’ which was completely shot at the homes of the respective cast of the show due to the COVID-19 restrictions. In an interview, while talking about her experience working from home as an actress, she said,

    I was apprehensive about shooting from home. However, my husband and daughter convinced me to take the plunge. It was a taxing process, but we had a lot of fun.”
