  • She hails from a political background; her father was a Member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly from Karwar Assembly constituency in Uttara Kannada district. He won the 2023 Karnataka Legislative Assembly election as an Indian National Congress candidate.
  • Sadhvi pursued a double major in Economics and International Relations at the University of British Columbia in Canada
  • In an interview, Sadhvi mentioned that she chose Economics for her higher studies after getting inspiration from Gita Gopinath, whose international career inclined Sail towards global affairs and finance.
  • While studying abroad, she got exposure to travel alone in various countries, that made Sail fluent in seven languages.
  • After moving back to Goa, she started working as a model for various brands including California Burritt. Along with that she ramps walked across multiple shows.   • In April 2026, Sadhvi was crowned Femina Miss India World, at the 61st Femina Miss India World pageant, held at the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. She was representing Goa. In the event Rajnandini Pawar from Maharashtra was crowned Femina Miss India 2026, the first runner-up, while Sree Advaita G of Jammu and Kashmir was crowned the second runner-up.

  • After her win, she said,

Hailing from a modest town and then plunged into a global arena abroad, my own mindset was my greatest hurdle. The dazzling accomplishments of others often cast a shadow of self-doubt, making me question my own potential and the audacity of my dreams. But a shift occurred when I reframed my inner dialogue. It taught me the importance of genuinely supporting and celebrating other women rather than comparing myself to them.”

 Representing India means carrying forward its spirit of resilience and perseverance. It means standing tall despite challenges and moving forward with determination. And above all, it means representing my country with integrity, strength and heart.”

  • She was crowned by her predecessor, Nikita Porwal who will represent India at the 75th Anniversary Edition of Miss World, taking place from 9 August 2026 to 5 September 2026 in Vietnam.

  • With this win, she became the first woman representing Goa state to be crowned Femina Miss India World and the first Goan woman to represent India at the Miss World pageant.
