  • In an interview, on being asked about her acting journey, she shared that acting became her dream when she was a child. She said,

Since a very young age, I used to watch TV shows and ask my mom whether I can be an actress, too. I used to enact scenes standing in front of the mirror. I told my mom about my dream and my parents decided to take me to Midnapore to attend dance and acting classes. My parents took me to the audition and I bagged a role in Maa Durga. That was in 2014. Later, I bagged another role in Goyenda Ginni. Back then, I used to travel from Jhargram. If I had a call time around 8 am in the morning, we had to take the train at 3.30 am. My parents gradually realised it is getting hectic for me. Dad decided to shift me and mom to Kolkata while he and my brother stayed back.” [2]The Times of India
