• After her video went viral, she received criticism from both the public and the medical community for her remarks on male cadavers.

• After that, many medical institutions, such as the All India Medical Students’ Association (AIMSA) and the Maharashtra Association for Resident Doctors (MARD), also criticised her for her remarks.

• Many people on social media blamed her for violating the medical ethics and professional conduct. They claimed that she had made fun of the respect and dignity that should be shown to the body donors, which are contributed to science.

• After that, Dr. Harish M. Pathak, the Dean of KEM Hospital, where Sejal Pawar was pursuing her medical studies, sent her on a compulsory leave for 15 days.

• She was then restricted from entering the college, hostel, and hospital campus during that period.

• The hospital administration then formed an internal inquiry committee of five members, including the hostel wardens and professors of the undergraduate wing, to investigate her previous actions. They were asked to submit a formal report on her.
