• Simarjeet loved playing cricket since childhood. He was 9 when he joined Madan Lal Cricket Academy in Delhi.

• In 2016, he represented India in the U-19 Asia Cup.

• Simarjeet made his List A debut for Delhi in the 2018-19 Vijay Hazare Trophy on 20 September 2018.

• His First-class debut for Delhi was in the 2018-19 Ranji Trophy against Hyderabad on 2 November 2018, where he took 37 wickets in 11 matches.
