• She has been rumoured to date BTS member Jimin since 2022. His group’s agency, BIGHIT Music under the HYBE Labels banner, has not addressed these rumours, which have left many fans unsatisfied.

• Speculation first began in 2022, when online posts claimed they were seen together. At the time, BTS’ agency BIGHIT Music stated, “It is difficult to confirm the matter related to the artist’s private life.”

• Reports in Korean media also noted that Song Da Eun had mentioned Jimin since 2022, claiming that she was not only dating him but also living with him.

• She had also posted content that fans believed was linked to Jimin. The following year, she responded to the dating rumours, saying she was mentally sound and even claimed she had proof of their relationship.

• According to K-media outlet iMBC, she added that she was not afraid of BTS’s fanbase or of the possibility of being sued for her actions.

• In June 2025, Song Da Eun addressed the hate she had been receiving online. Referring to malicious comments targeting her family, she said, “Just because the idol you like loves me doesn’t mean I deserve to be criticised. I didn’t make the first move either.”

• Before Jimin, she was linked to her Heart Signal 2 co-star Jung Jae Ho in 2018. The two became a real couple but reportedly broke up just five months after the show ended.

• Agency clarification K-media reports earlier this year claimed that content production and management company Merry Go Round had signed Song Da Eun as one of its artists.

• However, in the aftermath of renewed dating rumours, the company denied the reports. A representative told Korean outlet OSEN, “The article regarding our exclusive contract with Ms Song Da Eun published that morning is completely false.
