- Suryansh’s cricketing journey started when his family moved from Jaipur to Mumbai where he joined the Dahisar Sports Academy.
- Suryansh likes to travel and explore places around the world.
- Apart from cricket, Suryans is also good in swimming. In an interview, he shared an incident when his swimming coach advised her mother to make him a professional swimmer instead of a cricketer. He said,
He told my mother, ‘Pack his bags from cricket, I’ll make him swim for India'” – this was Suryansh Shedge’s swimming coach from his Under-14 days asking his mother not to invest their time and money in making him a cricketer not because he wasn’t good enough in the sport but he was too good as a swimmer as well. “I said flat-out no because obviously, cricket is one love. But playing different sports also teaches you a lot.”
- At 13, Suryansh first came into the limelight in 2016 when he scored the fastest triple-century in the history of the Giles Shield inter-school cricket tournament, organized by the Mumbai Schools Sports Association (MSSA); he scored 326 off just 137 balls for the Gundecha Education Academy against SPSS Mumbadevi Niketan.
