In 2012, a video content of sexual nature featuring Tulisa and her former boyfriend rapper MC Ultra (Justin Edwards) was released on the internet. She accused that the video was released by her former boyfriend MC Ultra with a wrongful intent which he denied. She got a court order against the distribution of the video. She received an apology legally from MC Ultra, she continued to legally move against the manager Chris Herbert, accusing his involvement in the commercial exploitation of the video. [1]The Guardian

Court trial of alleged drug deal case against Tulisa dropped
In 2013, Tulisa was accused of arranging Class A drugs to an undercover reporter who posed as a film producer in exchange for a role in a film. She was arrested based on the suspicions, but she denied use or supply of drugs. In 2014, the trial collapsed and the charges dropped after the judge found the reporter's statements had inconsistency with the evidence. Tulisa was accused of assaulting the celebrity blogger Vas J Morgan (Savvas Morgan) at The V Festival (an annual music festival) in Essex. Some Lesser Known Facts About Tulisa

  • Tulisa belongs to a musically inclined family. Her father, Steve Contostavlos (Plato), a Greek Cypriot, was the keyboardist of the British rock band Mungo Jerry. Her mother, Anne Byrne, an Irish singer, was part of the band Jeep with her sisters.
  • Her mother suffered from bipolar disorder and schizoaffective disorder and was admitted for treatment when Tulisa was five years old.
  • At age 12, she joined the musical band Lickle Rinsers Crew (now known as N-Dubz). The other members were her cousin Dino (now popular as singer Dappy) and Fazer.

  • According to her, her uncle Byron Contostavlos (bassist of the rock band Mungo Jerry) was instrumental in her joining the music band and in its success in later years.
  • Some of the songs released by the band Lickle Rinsers Crew (LRC) are Bad Man Riddim and Life Is Getting Sicker by the Day.
