• A TikTok influencer launched a GoFundMe campaign to provide Chase with food, clothing, and other essentials. The fundraiser successfully raised over $1,200 before being halted at the request of Chase’s mother. She expressed concern that direct financial help could put her son at risk due to his bipolar disorder and difficulties in managing money and medication. In her statement, she said that,

Tylor needs medical attention not money. But he refuses it. I appreciate your effort. But money would not be a benefit to him. I have gotten him several phones, but he loses them within a day or two. He can’t manage money for his meds by himself.”
