  • Vivrant grew up in a family of sports enthusiasts. His father was a boxer and his grandfather was a hockey player.

  • Vivrant owes the credit behind his success in cricket to his elder brother Vikrant who supported and guided him after the death of their parents. He also gives credit to his stepmother who supported him in his cricketing journey.
  • Vivrant started playing cricket at the age of 12.

  • Before playing in the IPL, Vivrant was a net bowler for Sunrisers Hyderabad
  • Vivrant was bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad for a price of Rs. 2.6 crore in the IPL Auction 2023. He drew the highest bid among the uncapped all-rounders in the auction.
  • In his debut IPL innings against Mumbai Indians in 2023, Vivrant broke the IPL’s 15-year-old record and became the highest Indian scorer in his debut IPL innings. He scored 69 runs off 47 balls in the match and broke the record of Swapnil Asnodkar of Rajasthan Royals.
