  • Yulia served as the Head of the Permanent Representation of Chernihiv City (Ukraine) in Wuxi City, China, from October 2011 to December 2013. At the time, it was the only official representative office of a Ukrainian city in China.
  • In March 2014, Yulia joined Eco-Vtor LLC in Kyiv as Deputy Chief and served in the role until May 2015.

  • In August 2022, Yulia was named head of the Interagency Working Group on the Implementation of the State Sanctions Policy. In this role, she held talks with other countries, including the United Kingdom, to strengthen sanctions against Russia.
  • On 14 July 2025, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced a government reshuffle and put forward Yulia Svyrydenko as his nominee for prime minister. She officially began her tenure following parliamentary approval on 17 July.
