  • He has lived in different villages of Maharashtra in his childhood because of the transfers in his father’s job.
  • While he was in school, he developed an interest in music along with his younger brother, Ajay. When Atul was in 4th standard, and his brother, Ajay was in 2nd standard, they composed music for school poems.
  • Atul and Ajay Gogavale participated in various extra-curriculum activities while they were studying.
  • Atul and Ajay’s family was not financially good, so their parents wanted them to focus on studies; as they could not afford expensive musical instruments for them.
  • Atul and Ajay used to perform with local bands in temples and local events. They did not have any professional training in music; it’s only their hard work which made them successful.
