- Ranjit Chowdhry was a popular Indian actor who is known for his roles in films, theatre, and T.V series both in Bollywood and Hollywood. His character of “Vikram” in the American sitcom The Office (2005) is popular among his fans.
- Ranjit Chowdhry was the son of Pearl Padamsee from her first marriage. Later on, she married Alyque Padamsee and had two children, Raell Padamsee and, Rahul Padamsee.
- Alyque Padamsee, the popular actor, and the ad-man was his stepfather.
- Khatta Meetha (1978), Baton Baton Mein (1979), and Khubsoorat (1980) are some of his Bollywood films, for which, he is still remembered by his fans.
