• Farid Karachiwala is an Indian solicitor who is named among the 50 Super Lawyers by The Asian Legal Business in 2020 which is the world’s leading source of intelligent information for businesses and professionals.

• According to Farid, he desired to be a solicitor since he was a young child.

• During his college days, Farid joined his father’s law firm to practice law, which eventually helped him.

• In 2006, Farid joined Wadia Ghandy, one of the oldest law firms in India, and later, he became a partner in the firm. In 2012, Farid opened a law office in Delhi with one of his partners from Wadia Ghandy.

• Farid represented the central government in a case against reliance and other companies regarding the KG-D6 gas case. The case lasted for almost four years.

• Farid specializes in corporate, commercial litigation, and arbitration.
