Controversies	• Filed a rape case against her husband: In 2022, she filed a rape case against her husband, Vikas Malu. She claimed that before her marriage, she was raped by Vikas Malu, and he later forced her to marry him.She also claimed that after her marriage, Vineet Malu, son of Vikas Malu’s first wife, who was an adolescent at that time, also started raping her after which she left Vikas’s home. While talking about this in an interview, she said, “I had earlier registered a complaint against Vikas Malu. Firstly, Vikas raped me, and then forcefully got married to me. After marriage, even his son started raping me. This was completely unbearable for me, and I left his house in October 2022." She claimed that Satish Kaushik once lend an amount of Rs 15 Crore to her husband for business investment, which her husband lost due to the failure of his business during COVID-19 pandemic. She revealed in an interview that her husband and Satish Kaushik had an argument over this matter on 23 August 2022. She said that Vikas Malu, at that time, was planning to kill the actor by giving him some blue pills. She further said that Vikas Malu organised a party at his farmhouse for Holi celebration in 2023, where Satish Kaushik was also present. She claimed that after the death of the actor, Malu’s farmhouse was investigated and some objectionable medicines were also found from there. However, Vikas Malu denied all the allegations made by Saanvi Malu against him and asserted that he and Satish Kaushik were family friends, and there were no financial dealings between them. He talked about this in an interview and said, “Police and government are there and if I’m wrong then I’m ready to face anything. Her allegations are wrong or else she should show proof. I had only family relations with Satish Kaushik, I was not involved with him in any business." She said that according to the post-mortem reports of her husband, there were no drugs in his samples; he had rather 98% of coronary artery blockage. In the interview, she said that Saanvi was defaming Satish Kaushik for her own benefit. She said, “I do not understand why she is trying to defame my husband after his demise.
