- Prabanjan J is an Indian student who achieved the top position in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate) 2023 by scoring a perfect mark on his very first attempt.
- He completed his education up to the 10th standard at Saradha Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Gingee, Tamil Nadu. He then switched to the CBSE curriculum and attended Velammal Vidyalaya in Ayanambakkam for his 11th and 12th grades. During this time, he prepared for the NEET 2023 examination at the Velammal Nexus Academy.
- He achieved an outstanding accomplishment by securing All India Rank (AIR) 1 in NEET-UG 2023, scoring a perfect 720 out of 720 marks. His total percentile was an impressive 99.9999019.
- The NEET-UG 2023 examination took place on 7 May 2023, and the results were officially announced on 13 June 2023. It is worth noting that Bora Varun Chakravarthi also scored the same marks, but according to the NEET tiebreaker policy, he was placed in the second position.
