- Jitendra Patwari is an Indian politician and activist. He is a member of the Indian National Congress and is the president of the Madhya Pradesh Congress. He was a Member of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly from 2013 to 2023 from Rau constituency in Madhya Pradesh.
- Jitu Patwari is from an OBC farming family in Indore’s Rau neighbourhood and his father Ramesh Chandra Kodarlal Patwari is an active member of the Indian National Congress. Jitu Patwari’s grandfather, Kodarlal Patwari, was a freedom fighter during the Indian independence movement.
- Jitu Patwari began his political career in 2013 when he became the MLA from the Rau constituency. He held the position for 10 years as he retained the seat during the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Legislative Election. He was given many charges under Kamal Nath’s government in 2018 including Minister of Higher Education and Youth & Sports Affairs under the government of Madhya Pradesh and working president of M. Pradesh Congress.
