• Rikant started working as an entrepreneur at the age of 17, in 2008.

• Initially, he and his brother Nishant created a website named Duke Travels to book airline tickets online. Their family and friends provided the funding for it.

• Later, when the website Duke Travels started making a profit, the Airline company Air Deccan offered the brothers to become their company’s partner.

• They changed their brand name from Duke Travels’ to EaseMyTrip after they partnered with Air Deccan.
