• Jimmy, an actor cum model has been part of a lot of films ranging from English to Haitian to French. He has been a producer on a few of the Hollywood films.

• His parents decided to move out of Haiti, a conflict-plagued country, to Paris in search of a better life for him and his brother.

• During his upbringing in Haiti, he had no inkling of what it would be like to appear on television. It wasn’t until he moved to Paris that he became acquainted with the arts scene. It was during his frequent visits to nightclubs that he was able to witness performances by renowned artists such as George Michael, Madonna, and Prince.

• He observed these people with admiration and dreamed of one day becoming like them. This is when he got the idea to pursue a career as an artist. He enrolled in an acting school in Paris, then explored musical theatre in Spain, and tried his hand at modelling in Italy. The journey was a long one, filled with many ups and downs. There were numerous successes and failures along the way, but he persevered.

• He never thought of himself as being an actor and focused on working in dancing clubs and musical theatre, eventually becoming a highly sought-after model.
