- Joshua started playing cricket at the age of 10 at the St Andrews Primary School.
- Besides cricket, Joshua played hockey at Monkstown Hockey Club and represented Ireland’s national field hockey under-16 team.
- In 2016, Joshua was used as a net bowler during Ireland’s bilateral home series against Sri Lanka.
- On 5 September 2016, Joshua debuted in Twenty20 International cricket against Hong Kong. He was 16 years old at the time of his debut and became the second youngest player to have played at that level.
