Some Lesser Known Facts About Sana Althaf

• Sana got her first debutant role as Dulquer Salmaan‘s sister in the film Vikramadithyan with the help of her aunt, Sajna Najam. She used to accompany her aunt to the sets of the film where director Lal Jose, a good friend of Sana’s father saw her and asked her to play the part. Initially, she was sceptical but decided to play the part for the fun of it.

• Initially, it was weird and awkward for her to act but she slowly started to notice her flaws and did work on them and acquired a liking for acting.

• In her second project, Mariyam Mukku, Sana had the same crew as Vikramadithyan which made the sets and filming easy for her.

• After doing only 2 films, Sana took a small break from acting to focus on her Tenth-standard board exams. She would repeat this and took break for are while after making her Tamil debut to focus on her Twelfth-standard board exams.

• While being a critically acclaimed actress, she is also a top-performing academic. She secured All India Rank 1 in 2020 in her ACCA Examination.

• Sana and her father, both are black belt in karate.

• Sana and her long-time partner, Hakim Shajahan, got married in the most modest way possible. they did not hold any grand event but got married in a non-religious legal marriage ceremony performed by a government official in front of their family members and a few of their close friends.

• Before their wedding, the couple hosted a private gathering for a select group of friends and family from the film industry. They chose not to invite any media outlets to keep the event private. However, despite their efforts, some media personnel managed to gain access and filmed several videos, which were later posted on Instagram.

• Sana was displeased by the invasion of her privacy and expressed her disapproval on Instagram.
