• Dhinidhi Desinghu started training in swimming at the age of six years as her parents thought it would help develop her confidence.

• Initially, she was scared of water but slowly developed her interest through regular practice.

• During her early training days, she disliked competing which changed when she won third place in a small competition.

• In 2019, she participated in state-level competitions, and the same year, she joined Dolphin Aquatics in Bengaluru, training under head coach Nihar Ameen and coach Madhu Kumar BM.

• She is the youngest member of the Indian team for the 2024 Paris Olympics in the universality quota with 749 points in the world aquatic rankings (as of 2024).
