In June 2023, on charges of drug trafficking, he was arrested by the Cyberabad police. The officers claimed that he was connected to a Nigerian drug dealer named Petit Ebuzer and had purchased 100 sachets of cocaine from the dealer before he returned from Goa. Later, the officers seized 90 sachets of cocaine, Rs 2,05,000 cash, four mobile phones, and a four-wheeler from KP Chowdary's possession. [1]India Today
