• Harshita Goyal grew up in Vadodara, Gujarat. Her family moved there from Hisar, Haryana, as her father got a job at a private company there.

• Harshita belongs to the general category.

• After earning a Bachelor of Commerce from the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, she pursued chartered accountancy.

• Harshita later began preparing for the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) exams, as it was her father’s dream to see her become an IAS officer.
