  • Smriti Mishra is an Indian civil servant. She bagged an All-India Rank (AIR) 4 in the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2022, the result of which was announced on 23 May 2023.
  • Her father is a Deputy Superintendent of Police who is posted as CO (second) with the Uttar Pradesh Police at Bareilly. He was commissioned into the Uttar Pradesh Police in 1989 as a sub-inspector. He was promoted to DSP in 2021.
  • Smriti drew inspiration to become an IAS officer from her father who served the society selflessly. Smriti started preparing for the civil services examination when she was in class 10.
  • Smriti scored 96.6% marks in her class 12 examination.
  • After passing class 12, she relocated to Delhi with her brother for higher studies, where they rented a house in sector 41.
  • Smriti appeared for the examination of her final semester of law course in 2023.
