ControversyQuestioning National Award for Shah Rukh Khan

After the 71st National Film Awards were announced, Urvashi raised questions about Shah Rukh Khan winning the Best Actor award for his film Jawan. She said there is no clear way to measure acting and asked what rules were followed in giving him the award. Urvashi also said that the National Award is not like a pension that should be accepted quietly. She felt Malayalam cinema was ignored and asked why senior actor Vijayaraghavan got only a Supporting Actor award and no Special Jury Mention.
