Her family loved classical and folk music at home. Olivia, however, grew passionate about jazz, R&B, soul, and a bit of country.

Growing up, she listened to pop artists like Destiny’s Child and Britney Spears.

Olivia was five years old when she gave her first public performance at the State Fair of Texas, singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.

When Olivia was 10, she and her best friend Sarah promised to marry and move to Los Angeles at 19, but by then, things did not work out, and she felt lost.

During high school, Olivia sang with the Grammy In The Schools Jazz Ensembles and performed with legendary musicians such as Herbie Hancock and Wynton Marsalis.

Olivia made her acting debut with the film ‘The Playroom’ (2012), which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival. She sang the closing credits.

She began her career in theatre with the LA-based company For The Record Live, performing in shows in Las Vegas (The Palazzo Theatre, Mandalay Bay), Broadway in Chicago, on the Norwegian Cruise Line, and at The Wallis Annenberg.
