  • On the night of 23 September 2025, Shaurya Sharma and his younger brother Veer Sharma tragically passed away due to smoke suffocation at their flat in Kota, Rajasthan.
  • Shaurya and his brother were alone at that time, as their father was attending a bhajan function nearby and their mother was in Mumbai for a shoot.
  • When Shaurya’s father, Jitendra Sharma, learned about the incident, he rushed home immediately. With the help of neighbours, he pulled out Shaurya and his brother and took them to the hospital. One of the brothers was conscious on the way, but he had inhaled a lot of carbon monoxide. Unfortunately doctor declared both of them dead upon arrival.
  • During the investigation, police found that the fire had reportedly started due to a short circuit. Although the fire was contained within the drawing room, their home was quickly filled with thick smoke.
  • The hospital handed over the bodies of Shaurya Sharma and his brother to their family upon the arrival of their mother, Rita Gupta, from Mumbai.
  • After the incident, the family decided to donate the eyes of both brothers.
