Ragini Das grew up and studied across different parts of India, from Srinagar to Chennai, as her father served in the Indian Army.

Ragini attended Chettinad Vidyashram in Chennai, where she served as cultural secretary.

After completing her graduation with a degree in business, Ragini began her professional career in Ludhiana.

In July 2010, Ragini joined Aludecor Pvt. Ltd. in the Greater Delhi Area as a summer intern. During her two-month internship, she conducted extensive market research and developed a business plan.

In June 2011, Ragini joined Standard Chartered Bank in Hyderabad as a Summer Intern. She worked under the Head Financial Advisor as a Wealth Management Trainee.

Ragini began her career in June 2012 with her first job at Trident Group India, where she worked as a Frontline Entrepreneur handling both domestic and international marketing.

In January 2013, Ragini was promoted to Frontline Entrepreneur – Europe and U.S. Marketing at Tr, managing key clients such as Ralph Lauren and JCPenney. She worked there until May 2013.

Ragini joined Zomato as a sales and marketing manager in Hyderabad in December 2013. She became a key accounts manager in Bengaluru in April 2014.

At Zomato, she was promoted to area sales manager in October 2015, leading teams across Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Delhi, while managing top clients and launching products like online ordering.

During that time, she received Zomato’s first-ever ‘Spark Award’ for promoting the company’s culture.

In July 2017, Ragini was promoted to Global Growth – Gold, becoming the first team member of the Zomato Gold team in India. She built Zomato Gold from the ground up, growing it to two million users and expanding to ten international markets.

In January 2020, Ragini co-founded leap.club in Gurugram, building India’s largest social-professional network for women with over 25,000 paid members.

Over 5 years, she led growth, product launches, events, marketing, and fundraising, scaling revenue to $3M+ and raising $2.2M in funding with half the cap table held by women.
