• During her school days, Harshita Arora was a bright student. However, in 2016, when she was ninth class, she refused to go to school.

• According to her, she was not interested in traditional teaching-learning method. She wanted to pursue a career in computer and technology.

• Initially, Harshita Arora started skipping classes, but later, dropped out.

• According to her parents, it was hard for them to believe that their daughter quit the school. They tried to convince her several times to complete her studies until class tenth.

• Her parents even suggested her to reduce her subject load, but Harshita was determined to her decision.

• Harshita Arora used to keep herself locked in the room while working on computers most of the time.

• When she was thirteen years old, she started learning coding and programming.

• When she was fifteen years old, Harshita Arora used to work continuously on her computer. She stopped attending family functions and going on trips. She even stopped visiting her grandparents in holidays.

• During her school days, one of her teachers taught her some coding tools such as Scratch and MIT App Inventor, and she became interested in it.

• According to her, Harshita Arora received global experience through LaunchX program and worked on startups.

• After that, she returned to India and started working on her own projects.

• In 2018, Harshita Arora developed a tracking application for cryptocurrency portfolios. The app helped users to manage their online investments.

• Soon after its launch, the app became popular and was listed on top as a paid app on the Apple App Store.

• Reportedly, her father read the news of his daughter’s application in a newspaper and was shocked.

• Later, this application was acquired.

• After that, she shifted from India to San Francisco, United States, on an O-1 visa.

• In 2019, they co-founded a venture titled AtoB.

• They developed fuel cards and payment systems for the truck companies.

• Gradually, her startup started serving more then 30,000 fleets in the U.S., and the value of the startup reached around $800 million. 

• After that, in an official statement Y Combinator stated that AtoB built a financial infrastructure for the trucking industry in the U.S. and was called Stripe for Trucking. It said,
  

  Today, AtoB is a Series-C stage company building financial infrastructure for the trucking industry. Often described as ‘Stripe for Trucking,’ it offers fleet cards, instant payouts, and modern financial tools, serving over 30,000 fleets across the US.”

• In 2020, Harshita Arora received recognition for her work. The Prime Minister of India honored her with the Bal Shakti Puraskar. Narendra Modi appreciated her on Twitter and wrote,

• In 2021, her startup AtoB started working with Y Combinator, a global startup accelerator.

• In 2026, Harshita Arora was promoted to the position of General Partner. In this role, she selected new startups and help them in their growth.

• Reportedly, she calls her parents over the phone on weekends only.
