  • He worked as Systems Manager at Hindustan Unilever Limited from July 1997 to June 2000.
  • In September 2000, he joined Infosys as a Senior Technical Architect. He worked in this position until June 2003.
  • Neelkanth served as the Managing Director of Credit Suisse from June 2003 to May 2023. He led APAC strategy and headed the firm’s India Equity strategy and research teams.
  • Over the years, he also contributed to public policy as a member of the advisory council to the 15th Finance Commission, a part-time member of the Prime Minister’s Economic Advisory Council (EAC-PM), part-time Chairperson of UIDAI, and part-time member of TRAI.
