  • Lingamaneni Ramesh started a company called Lingamaneni Estates in 1983.
  • The company took up real estate activities in several cities of Andhra Pradesh.
  • The company expanded its operations over the years to include a large enterprise with holdings all over the state.
  • Ramesh was appointed chairman of Air Costa, one of the airlines in Andhra Pradesh.
  • He was also the Chief of Confederation of Indian Industry, Vijayawada. In 2015, Ramesh joined the Jana Sena Party.
  • This was when the party expanded its footprint in Andhra Pradesh with the leadership of Pawan Kalyan.
  • In 2016, Ramesh’s name was in the news when the guest house was constructed by the Lingamaneni Estate on the embankment of the river Krishna near Vijayawada.
  • At the time, it was reported that the Andhra Pradesh government took this guesthouse as the residence of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.
