  • Afzaal Khan is an Indian actor who is popular for acting in many well-known Hindi TV shows like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi (2002), Kavach… Maha Shivratri (2019), and Meet: Badlegi Duniya Ki Reet (2021-2003).
  • Afzaal took a keen interest in acting since his school days; he participated in and won many accolades in numerous acting competitions in his school.

  • After completing graduation, Afzaal started taking care of his family business; however, he left his family business as it did not appeal to his interests.
  • In the late 1990s, he shifted from Lucknow to Mumbai to further his acting interest.
  • In 1999, he bagged a role in a Hindi film titled Tower House. His career failed to take off as the film did not perform well at the box office.
  • In 2001, he auditioned for the Hindi TV show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, produced by Ekta Kapoor, and got selected. In an interview, he talked about it and said,

    I came to Mumbai and started looking for some good work and the I came to know there were auditions going on for some show called Kyuki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and my token number was 701, and they were looking for a character and I got the show and the character was spoilt brat the negative character and I was told that it was a 8-10 day character and I took that job.”

    He received a remuneration of Rs. 1 lakh for working in the serial.

  • He was offered to act in another Ekta Kapoor-produced soap opera Kitne Kool Hai Hum, which premiered on Zee TV in 2001. During a media interaction, Afzaal claimed that he was approached by the producer herself after she was impressed by his acting in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.

  • In the Hindi daily soap Suhaagan, Afzaal Khan appeared as Madan; the show premiered on 2 May 2023 on Colors TV. He talked about how he got the role of Madan, in an interview, and said,

    I got a call from the production house. So since I am always in search of doing something different, I gave sent an audition clip to them and they liked it and after a few days I was selected.”

  • Afzaal Khan shared during a media interview that he had to stop acting for a while because some individuals attacked him with knives and attempted to steal from him. He talked about the incident and said,

    I met an accident when I was coming back from the shoot and some people tried to robbed me and they stabbed me and there was a down fall where I had to take a break for 5 to 6 months and suddenly you are at peak and you have a down fall and I had to struggle again and after break it took time to be back on peak and I met Ekta Kapoor again and she offered me another show.”
