• Before entering the entertainment industry, he worked for the Tata Motors for eight years, and then, he moved to the hospitality industry where he worked as a management consultant.

• Akash is a co-founder of Nimbus Communications (a leading sports, media, and entertainment company) where he became an HR Advisor, Chief Creative Officer, CEO and MD, and Chairman.

• Initially, he did a lot of theatres with renowned theatre personalities- Satyadev Dubey, Sunil Shanbag, and Naseeruddin Shah. He has also been associated with over 30 theatre plays.

• Akash started his career as a film actor in 1981.
