Alia Bhatt lives in 205, Silver Beach Apartments, Juhu, Mumbai, with her family. It all began with the shooting of director Vikas Bahl‘s movie Shaandaar (2015) when Alia met his wife Richa Bahl, whom she immediately asked to design her new house.

Richa designed a pleasant dressing room for Alia and also ensured the privacy of the rest of the house.

Since Alia shares, a lovely bond with her sister Shaheen Bhatt, both of them stay here in this brand new house owned by Alia Bhatt.

Speaking about the idea of her own house, Alia said, “It’s all very new and unexplored for me. I made sure I got a place very close to my parents’ home. You step out of my old home and you step into the new home.”

However, Alia’s father, Mahesh Bhatt is quite unconvinced with the thought of Alia and Shaheen staying in a different house. “I’ve tried to explain to him that I am just a breath away. But I guess dads will be dads,” said Alia during her interview.

A quite refreshing thing to know is that the sisters emphasized on getting a “Tea Bar” in the house. This is because Alia and Shaheen are totally obsessed with different types of tea.
