In a conversation with a media house, he clarified that he started working for the movie in 2017, and due to some reasons, the movie did not release, and by that time, he had not joined.     I worked in this movie in 2017. Due to various reasons, the release was delayed. When I played this role, I was not in active politics. I never supported nor will support Godse’s ideology in my personal life. As an actor, I just perform.”

NCP Chief Sharad Pawar supported Amol Kolhe for his film. Sharad Pawar stated that everyone should perceive Amol’s role in the movie as an actor.
